At Hinton Imagery, intimate sessions are intentionally created for people who want more than just beautiful photos. They want an experience that feels safe, affirming, and honest. Before your session:


Your experience begins with a conversation. We talk about what you’re hoping to feel during your session, what makes you nervous, what parts of yourself you want to honor, and what kind of images you are wanting to create.


You do not need modeling experience.

You do not need to know how to pose.

You do not need to look a certain way.


Your body is not a project.  Your presence is enough. This is also where we talk about wardrobe, comfort levels, and any boundaries you want respected during your session. This is also where I send you information to your email, its a lot but I want you to be informed, feel safe and your best for your session.


Arriving at your intimate session:


Most people arrive a little nervous. That is normal. Your session is designed to move with that in mind. There is no rush and no pressure to perform. We start with your most clothed option, some music and just enjoying each others company. You are guided the entire time. You will never be asked to do something that feels uncomfortable or disconnected from you. We move at your pace, and we check in often. The goal is not to create a version of you.


The goal is to photograph you.

During the session:


You are guided through every part of your session with clear, gentle direction. You are shown where to place your hands, how to shift your body, and how to move into each pose. As well as a reminder always to Breathe. There is space for pauses. There is space for laughter. There is space for emotion.



After your intimate portrait session:


After your session, you’ll be invited back to view your images during your ordering appointment. This is where you get to see yourself through a softer, kinder lens. We go through your gallery together and talk about how you’d like to bring your images into your life, whether that’s through prints, albums, or digital collections. You are supported in choosing what feels meaningful to you.
